Trainers: Isabel García und Anja Balzer

Isabel García: Anyone can speak compellingly – if they find their own way. This conviction has inspired me for a long time. I studied singing with a minor in acting and psychology, did TV and radio commercials and worked as a radio presenter for ten years (including R.SH and NDR). I am a qualified speaker and have received a seal of quality for my teaching institute ‘ICH REDE.’ (‘I’m SPEAKING.’) from Weiterbildung Hamburg e. V.. My first audio book ‘ICH REDE. Kommunikationsfallen und wie man sie umgeht’ (‘I’M SPEAKING. Communication pitfalls and how to avoid them’)  is considered one of the most successful rhetoric audio books in Germany. I have now published nine audiobooks and six books. The special thing about my work is the closeness to my participants. I encourage, inspire, show alternatives and make people both laugh and think.

Anja Balzer: She never fails to impress with her skills as an improvisation actress. Especially in a professional context, for example when she slips into the role of the dominant manager, the eternally complaining colleague or the dismissive customer. Role-playing can only work well if the ‘role’ is played well. And Anja Balzer can do this like no other.

Frequently asked questions

It doesn’t have to be. However, I recommend it because I can only go the extra mile over a longer period of time by helping to translate the content into everyday working life, by being constantly present during practice and thus ensuring that the employees actually put the content into practice.

The training is available in English and German.

Of course. I create the content individually each time. The best way to discuss what you need is by phone or video conference and I will tell you whether and how I can implement it in this course format.

That depends. I have had very good experiences with managers being present. However, it may be that your team talks and practises more openly with me if you are not there. This is best clarified in a personal preliminary discussion.

Well recognised. This can be a challenge in the first few weeks when the content is being practised within the team. But this soon wears off and then everyone in the team realises how good it is to create a new way of working together.
